Club Extreme Volleyball

A few weeks ago my mom invited me down to Indianapolis to watch my sister’s volleyball team play in a tournament. Since I hadn’t seen my sister play anything competitively in almost two years (and because I missed my family) I jumped at the chance to spend the weekend with them. It didn’t hurt that my mom bribed me saying that one of the parents would loan me their Nikon and 70-200 2.8. Here are some of my favorites from the weekend.

Go Green!

Congratulations to my Michigan State SPARTANS on a great run to the NCAA Championships. I can’t wait to watch them give North Carolina a run for their money tonight.

Raymar Morgan and Kalin Lucas (my two favorites), I’ll be cheering you boys on from the warmth and comfort of my couch.

Tom Izzo – you are one of the classiest men/coaches in the game. Keep up the good work with these boys!

***Here are some great articles to tide you over until game time

The Outer Banks

My favorite travel destination in the good old United States (to date) is the Outer Banks of North Carolina (OBX for short). Every 4 years like clockwork my family schedules a vacation to this magical place. Its always a week full of fun and relaxation. Being the total water baby that I am (Aquarius), I made my first attempt (and failed miserably) at surfing here a few years ago. On our trip this past summer I brought along my new camera. Here are a couple of favorites that I keep on a constant rotation to remind me of those great times…

Duke of Earl

My dear friend Rachel was kind enough to let me stop by and take pictures of her adorable Boston Terrier, Duke. One of these days he’ll call me “Auntie Kennice”. But until then, he shall always be my little Duke of Earl. Here’s a couple of my favorites from our little session…

I’m going to end this post with my two favorite shots…
